Jamie is a magna cum laude graduate of The Valparaiso University School of Law ’00, and a graduate of Vanderbilt University ’89 with a BS in Human Development, where he was the starting first baseman on the baseball team. He is a member of the Michigan Bar and Indiana Bar, and has experience in every area of site acquisition including project director/manager, zoning, leasing, and candidate selection. As an attorney, he understands and is careful to protect the interests of SMJ International’s clients, while balancing that with the client’s desire to get the deal done. He has successfully directed site development projects for all of the major carriers including Sprint, Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile, as well as all of the major tower companies in the US. He has also worked in Canada on significant wireless site development projects in the Province of Ontario.
Lee is a graduate of Central Michigan University. He began his real estate career thereafter working as a leasing and right of way agent for several energy development firms in the Midwest. Lee is an owner/partner of several real estate development firms specializing in commercial and industrial properties. He has also served as a senior executive within the telecommunication industry directing projects throughout the US and serving in varying business development roles. He is a past municipal mayor, chairperson of a local planning/zoning commission, past member of Michigan Municipal League, Michigan Mayors Association, and EDC along with a local DDA. His years of experience in real estate, zoning, and the political arena provide our clients with the requisite information in their respective projects.
David is a graduate of Michigan State University where he earned his BA and MBA. His career in wireless telecommunications development spans 20 years, including extensive experience in Full Turnkey network launches, large venue DAS installation, raw land sites, and long-haul MW backhaul. David joined SMJ in 2015 from American Tower, where he last held the role of National Director of Services Strategy. Within the first 2 years at SMJ he has overseen the launch of a successful joint venture on the construction of 250 small cell and multiple raw land sites spanning a 5-state area.
